Smell The Roses [Tooru Oikawa x Reader]
Being in a relationship with the Captain of the school’s volleyball team wasn’t easy. First of all, the fact you were his girlfriend hadn’t been made public yet, so there were still lots of girls chasing after him. You had to admit, it did make you jealous, but you kept that to yourself because you knew Oikawa would only tease you about it.
Secondly, he spent the majority of his time at practise. You weren’t one to complain about that because you knew how much he loved volleyball.
Thankfully it was Monday – the one day your boyfriend took off to rest. Probably the only night a week you got to spend time with hi

It was a snowy night, and you were wrapped under many layers of blankets with hot cocoa on your bedside table. You held your phone near your face as you scrolled through your pictures. It was something you did when you were bored to death, and you thought you might find something amusing to look at again.
The door opened and you knew who it was, judging by the way it opened. You smiled underneath your blankets and was greeted by his tight hug.
"Hello, Oikawa. How was the outside world?"
You heard your boyfriend grunt in response and nuzzled his head on your blanket-covered shoulder.
"It was so cold outside,

You stare at him silently, examining his face. His lips pursed in a thin line, his eyes concentrated on the ball in his hands. He throws it up.
«You know they’re right, Kageyama.» When the ball falls back down, he grips it instead of throwing it up again.
«…go away.» You know you should, but you can’t, not after what happened.
«Kageyama, please, I’m trying to help!» His arms lower, stlil holding the ball tightly. You can see his shoulders tremble lightly, and he turns to glare at you.
«I don’t want to talk to you anymore.» You open your mouth to say something, anything

You take a couple of steps back, tears welling up in your eyes. You’re staring at him, angry and disappointed, and you know by the way his eyes widen that he realized just how much he messed up.
«…hey, I didn’t mean it-» He takes a step towards you, but you move back, shaking your head, your hands clenched.
«Oh, you didn’t, did you? You always say that, but… not this time Kei, it won’t work.» You bite your lip to keep a sob in. You don’t even care about the tears running down your cheeks anymore.
«Fine, I meant it, happy? I didn’t mean to hurt you, though.» He do

While everything was silent and obscured by the dark, faint lighting came from the corner of your room where you sat, phone in hand, holding back the tears and shaky exhales by biting down your lip as the pads of your fingers swiped across the screen. Your eyes trailed down every single detail of each picture that you had taken together and of each other, but those were all memories of the past.
Happy ones.
Cheeky ones.
Lovely ones.
By then, you could care less about your sore lower lip from excessive biting in an attempt to stifle the sobs. The tears, however, had other plans and strolled down y
"I never thought I would have the passion for anything ever again..."
They say it’s the feeling of drowning. You know how to swim, and you want to, but you just can’t find it in you to do so. You’ve fallen in far too deep by then, nothing can save you, and you feel indifferent about it. ‘Do I want to be saved, or do I wish to perish? Is there really hope for me, or is that all just a dream that cannot be reached?’
The worst part is, you knew that feeling all too well. No one knew that about you, though. Not even your closest friends. They must have thought, ‘[Surname] [Name], why do you not want to be arou

"And up until now I have sworn to myself
That I'm content with loneliness.
Because none of it was ever worth the risk.
But you are the only exception."
Tsukishima Kei was not the easiest person to get to know.
He was snarky, rude, and his words dripped of sarcasm. If people weren't intimidated by his height and disconcerting demeanour, they were definitely put off by his bluntness and cold personality.
He didn't have many friends. Sure, he was almost always found with the Karasuno volleyball team, but they didn't really count. They thought of him as family, despite his spiteful personality, yet he couldn't find it in himself to reciprocate

«Ah, I forgot a book in class.»
Your arms lay on the desk you're sitting in front of, your head hidden in them, and your shoulders shake from your quiet sobs. You don't even bother wiping away the tears falling from your eyes - you decided to stay in class after everyone left exactly for that, after all.
«Stupid, stupid... why did I have to fall for him?» The classroom door cracks open just enough for the blond boy outside to see what's going on, and you don't notice it.
«With all of his stupid remarks... doesn't he know how much they hurt?» You lift your head just enough to wipe away your tears, even if they'

“(f/n)-chaaaan!”
You turned from your current task to see Oikawa peek out from the doorway with his bright Colgate smile. He pranced into the back of the classroom where you stood, making himself comfortable by taking a seat on a desk near you with his arms propped up on the back of chair.
“How are you doing today~” He hummed coolly.
You, not paying him anymore mind, turned back around to continue what you were doing. You were an after-school tutor for (subject), but since there were no tutoring sessions on Fridays, you usually opted to help the teacher organize graded papers and do other erra
